The Mental Health Nurse Coordinator is an advanced practice nurse who works collaboratively with the Nurse Coordinators and partner agencies of the Ottawa Inner City Health Inc. in order to provide mental health assessments, develop and implement care plans and appropriate treatment options for patients living with mental health issues. The Mental Health Nurse Coordinator provides leadership and exemplifies the values of the Ottawa Inner City Health Inc. in his/her practice.
The Mental Health Nurse Coordinator provides support and supervision to the client care workers and collaborates with shelter staff to ensure the highest possible quality of care to clients of the OICHI. Full job description will be provided upon request. Qualifications include: Meets the standards of practice of the College of Nurses of Ontario. Possess a current Registered Nurse, Certificate of Competence.
